4th of July Trifle

Great 4th of July recipe
6 small short cakes
1 ½ cup fresh washed and cut strawberries
1 cup fresh washed blue berries
2 cups Vanilla pudding
1 sm container Cool whip
Pedestal Trifle bowl

Break up and place half of short cake on bottom of bowl
Layer fresh strawberries on top of cake
Spread 1 cup of vanilla pudding over the fruit
Then spread half of the cool whip on top, just enough to cover the pudding
Repeat all four layers, replacing the strawberries with blueberries.
When finished, garnish the top with the remaining fruit in your own 4th of July design!
