How Do I Love Thee

How do I love thee? Let me count the ways.
I love thee to the depth and breadth and height
My soul can reach, when feeling out of sight
For the ends of Being and ideal Grace.
I love thee to the level of everyday's
Most quiet need, by sun and candle-light.
I love thee freely, as men strive for Right;
I love thee purely, as they turn from Praise.
I love thee with the passion put to use
In my old griefs, and with my childhood's faith.
I love thee with a love I seemed to lose With my lost saints …
I love thee with the breath, Smiles, tears, of all my life!
—and, if God choose,
I shall but love thee better after death.

Elizabeth Barrett Browning

If you are lucky enough to share Valentine's Day with someone special don't forget how blessed you are. We have a fun suggestion.

Write a paragraph on all, or a page on one, of these topics, put it in a card... Then watch the movie
1. "It seems right now that all I've ever done in my life is making my way here to you." "Bridges of Madison Co"
2. "I would rather have had one breath of her hair, one kiss from her mouth, one touch of her hand, than eternity without it." "City of Angels"
3. "When they ask me what I liked best, I'll say it was you." "City of Angels"
4. "I would rather be a ghost drifting by your side as a condemned soul than enter heaven without you" "Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon"
5. "There are only four questions of value in life. What is sacred? Of what is the spirit made of? What is worth living for? What is worth dying for? The answer to each is the same. Only love." "Don Juan DeMarco"
6. "The best and most beautiful things in the world cannot be seen, nor touched, but are felt in the heart." "English Patient"
7. "Dancing is just a conversation between two people. Talk to me." "Hope Floats"
8. "The greatest thing you'll ever learn is just to love and be loved in return." ”Moulin Rouge"
9. "I love that you get cold when it's seventy degrees out. I love that it takes you an hour and a half to order a sandwich. I love that you get a little crinkle above your nose when you're looking at me like I'm nuts. I love that after I spend a day with you I can still smell your perfume on my clothes, and I love that you are the last person I want to talk to before I go to sleep at night." ”"When Harry Met Sally"
